ERASMUS ISTANBUL, TURKEY, 2012-2013

Istanbul was an amazing cultural experience. Between the madness of spices to the tea addiction, there is on this beautiful city the kindness and hospitality of its people. Studying in this yet so european, yet so exotic city was like discovering a new way of thinking architecture and questioning the space.

The main goals were leveraging the advanced technology and globalization; the gentrification process; the culture of the city and its centuries of history; the persistence of the traditional heritage. It was after all a challenging exercise, forever to be remembered.
